Services 
Syracuse Alternative Media Network's Production Services can assist your organization with its education, training, and publicity programs. Our quality video productions can further your organization's goals by producing educational materials or training your members in the technical aspects of media production.
SAMN shares a three camera studio and professional editing suite with one other organization. Editing can be done using a tape based system or a computer based nonlinear system. Our equipment and expertise bring professional production down to earth.
Our level of involvement on any project can range from simply shooting raw footage, editing for you or with you, acting in a consultant role, producing a video for you or working with you on a project to teach you video production skills.

| public affairs programs | SAMN can produce broadcast quality programs such as short documentaries or talk shows on issues of importance to you and your group |
| documentaries | SAMN produces full-length documentaries on a variety of issues. Your members or staff can take an active role in all aspects of production -- from scripting to shooting and editing. We offer training and "hands on" experience so that you can continue using these skills after the production is completed. Your level of involvement is up to you. |
| public service announcements | PSA's can publicize your activities, funding needs or your stands on public issues. |
| lectures and training sessions | SAMN can video tape your workshops, in-service training sessions or educational lectures. These can be used for training people who missed your event or live out of town. |
| record speakers | SAMN can record speakers for distribution, audition or for your archives. We can record group activities or major events and successes for future use in programs, public service announcements and your archives. |
| record plays or performances | SAMN can record your play or performance for distribution, audition, archives or self-evaluation. |
| videotape duplication | SAMN can duplicate your educational programs onto VHS 1/2" videotape. Dubs can be made from or to 3/4", 3/4" SP, Beta SP and DV, VHS or S-VHS formats. We can duplicate any quantity and the cost is low even for a small number of copies. |
| CLOSED CAPTIONING | SAMN can closed caption your educational program to any of the tape formats listed above. |
| DVD AUTHORING | SAMN can author your DVD with multiple menus and chapters, as well as captions for the hearing impaired or translation to a different language. We can also attach computer files to the DVD so viewers can access additional resources and materials. |
